Colonel Shelley Bennett, (Ret.) U.S. Army


Ms. Bennett serves as a Board Member of Project Meridian Foundation.
 
 Ms. Bennett is an Intelligence and Special Operations professional with over 30 years of experience in the military, government, and private sectors. Her career has focused primarily on intelligence, legislative affairs, program management and international marketing.
 
 Ms. Bennett has held a number of management and staff positions in the offices of the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, United States Army, Intelligence agencies, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. She concluded her military career as Chief, Congressional Affairs for the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and J2 Intelligence Liaison to the Joint Interagency Coordination Group for Counterterrorism, US European Command.
 
 Ms. Bennett then served on the 2005 White House Commission (Weapons of Mass Destruction) as the deputy for the Information Sharing Working Group. Recently she continued her international work in Iraq, Kurdistan and Afghanistan, focusing on Rule of Law and IT development programs continuing on to project management consulting work in Palestine/Israel. .
 
 Ms. Bennett's pre-med undergraduate work (Psychology and Asian Studies with a minor in Chemistry) is from St.Olaf College and her Masters in National Security and International Affairs is from the Naval War College. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma,with a concentration in Macroeconomics.
