Gary Silverthorn is the President and CEO of Secure Solutions & Design, LLC. Headquartered in Bradenton, Florida, Secure Solutions & Design provides expert, personalized security consulting to their clients nationally and internationally so they can have a better understanding of their own security plan or posture. Conducting security assessments, threat assessments, and risk assessments provides a base line to work from to develop a robust security plan to deter, detect, delay and mitigate security threats. Secure Solutions & Design assists clients with design, integration, training and program management.

Gary is an expert in the security industry. His skills include: Security assessments, vulnerability assessments, security design, security planning, program management, classified security operations, and military tactics and strategies. As a retired US Army Ranger and Senior Non-Commissioned Officer with more than 27 years of military and business professional experience, Gary is well prepared for this role. Gary has supported the U.S. Central Command and the U.S. Special Operations Command in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom both in a military and civilian capacity. Secure Solutions & Design provides security consulting and support for security related projects for US Government contracts in support of the global war on terrorism, industry and non government clients. As owner of Silverthorn Consulting, he provided security consulting in support of Department of Defense contracts to include oversight and management for security operations, facility security and planning. Gary was part of a new startup venture that became one of the world’s largest security companies, providing them with security guidance, obtaining and maintaining Facilities Clearance, Corporate Security, Personnel Security Clearances and background checks for approximately 700 Americans and 1500 Third Country Nationals supporting US Government contracts in High Threat Security and Protection.

Gary Silverthorn is a native of Bradenton, Florida and is a service disabled Veteran who retired from active duty in 2004. He served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, where he served as an infantry marine and augmented as security forces for the secretary of the navy at the pentagon. He also served in the United States Army Special Operations as an Army Ranger supporting and defending the policies of the United States. Gary has a degree from Troy University, AL.
