William F. (Billy) Raum serves as Sr. Executive Advisor to the Project Meridian Foundation.
Mr. Raum for more than two decades, Billy Raum's business career of successful strategic executive planning and business turn-arounds through creative and systematic detailed and simplified management has shown one success after another.
An accomplished marketing strategist, Billy's vision, expertise and golden touch have taken business performance in many ventures to new heights in marketing, retail and the financial consumer goods sector.
His achievements have been featured in Black Entrepreneur, Gospel USA, Music Connection Magazine, the New York Times, Gospel Zone Magazine and more.
Offering a rare blend of creative and operational strengths, Billy Raum has been recognized for his successful achievements with a number of company and product turnarounds and is also recognized for successful sales growth and increasing profits at some of the largest manufacturing corporations of the world. These include the design and implementation of a rental buyback program for Nissan Motor Company.
Billy's strategic approach to increasing business, business volume and maximizing profit is reflected in his work in upper management, where his ability to implement and organize training in consumer sales and service caused marked increases in customer satisfaction and gained him many awards and recognition as one of the best in this field.
Billy's expertise and ability to turn a floundering business into a successful enterprise is best exemplified by his success as general manager of a multi-franchised dealership (domestic and import). Under his direction and management, this troubled company went on to record profits thanks to major shifts in marketing strategy, operations, Customer Satisfaction and point-of-sale merchandising. This accomplishment did not go unnoticed, and Billy was recognized by General Motors and Black Entrepreneur Magazine for leading a distressed company to become one of the top 100 dealers in the country in growth and Customer Satisfaction.
Billy's ability to strategize, envision, plan, manage, lead, inspire and empower over seventy employees to increase production, output, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability exemplifies his finely tuned management, organizational and leadership skills.
Never content to sit on his accolades, Billy set out to apply the principles of management, business and profitability to the entertainment industry starting with film and music.
One of Billy's clients was Denise Hill who was on local DC radio. After analyzing her strengths and weaknesses and some coaching he applied his own creative strategies and unique marketing methods to produce and negotiate her to the next level in radio. His efforts got Denise Hill the morning drive talk host on New York radio and radio program director in the number one market in the country. She is currently syndicated in forty- eight markets and Billy still manages her speaking arrangements, book publishing deals and stays actively involved in her career.
Billy also became the Director of the "Power" label (NYC); which handles music and motivational speakers, such as Dr. Denis Waitley and Dr. Maryann Rosenthal ("Seeds of Greatness") and also publications like "Chicken Soup for the Soul" and others of that type.
Over the years, Billy has had the pleasure of working with Paul Marshall (entertainment attorney for the Beatles, Mary J. Blige, etc.); Mr. John Velasco, a respected veteran of the entertainment field (BMG, United Artist, Tina Turner, etc.); Mr. Chuck Armstrong, (A&I, Shania Twain, etc); Ms. Alycia Holton Lerer (TMEG Canada); Central South Distribution; Cherry Lane Publishing; Sparrow Records, and many other professionals in the entertainment industry.
Billy's dedication to success in managing his artists' careers led him to traveling extensively. His company, Royal Production Management and RPM Studios incorporates his record label Cross Track Records which supplies and arranges music for DVDs. Billy is also proud as well as honored to be a part of the following elite organizations: The Recording Academy (Grammys), The Gospel Music Association (GMAs), The Country Music Association (CMAs), The Urban Gospel Alliance and ASCAP.
Currently he manages recording artist Salah, singer/songwriter Laura Kaye and radio personality Denise Hill "The Gospel Lady."
