Mr. John H. Darrah is an Executive Board Advisor to Project Meridian Foundation.

Mr. Darrah has served as a board member to Project Meridian Foundation. Mr. Darrah served as an advisor on the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks, and was loaned to the Reagan administration during its transition period in 1980-81 to, among other things; work on developing the national security budget for the new administration. He is nationally recognized in the many missions and systems of the Space Commands and has been a principle contributor to the security of the United States from the cold war's missile warning and space surveillance system to creating today's many new space capabilities. His work to make the United States Strategic Forces, their command and control, survivable has been recognized nationally and internationally.

Mr. Darrah presently is an Adjunct Staff Member to the Institute for Defense Analysis (IDA) Washington D.C. and has been a member since 2000. [IDA is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC)]. He has advised the Commander in Chief (CINC) North; the Commander of Air Force Command, the Assistant Secretary of Defense OSD/C3I; and other DOD and government offices and agencies at a high level. He was a research physicist and the senior civilian scientist at the Air Force Weapons Laboratory; the Captain assigned to the Defense Atomic Support Agency; and the Chief Scientist for the Air Force Space Command / Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado (1982 - 1999). John retired from the federal government as a member of the Senior Executive Service in the fall of 1999 and he continues to consult at a high level for the U.S. government and for homeland defense.

Mr. Darrah has always been active in community affairs and in various churches throughout the years. He has served on the Board of Directors of the University of Colorado, leading the efforts of government affairs; has served as President of the Broadmoor Rose Society; and has raised funds for the Broadmoor Skating Club.
