Jeffery (Jeff) Williams


Jeff Williams serves as a board Member to Project Meridian Foundation.

Jeff is currently the Program Development Consultant for the Virginia Department of Social Services Division of Licensing Programs (Licensing). He has worked for Licensing since 2000. During that time he has been a licensing inspector, operations consultant, and information technology specialist. He brought to Licensing a great deal of experience and education in the area of human services and human development. His professional experience ranged from directing religious and secular child care programs to managing the educational and general programming of a large church.

Jeff obtained a Masters in Communication (with an emphasis in mass media and culture) from Regent University in 2005 and a Bachelor in Social Science (with an emphasis in education and psychology) from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1993.

Jeff continues to increase his knowledge and experience in the field of human services by attending numerous trainings. Because of his skills and accomplishments, he was recently selected to attend the Virginia Social Services Leadership Academy. He has found the program to be extremely empowering and fulfilling.

Because of his experience and education, Jeff has been asked to service in numerous capacities in a number of different not-for-profit organizations. He has led a large number of church committees, planning and visioning retreats, and training on organizational communication and technology. Because of his personal experience with adoption and work with Licensing, he has been asked to sit on several state committees to improve the services to foster care children and to increase the quality of childcare in Virginia.

They live in Henrico, Virginia where Jeff serves as a director for his neighborhood's home owner association. Angie his wife is the Director of Youth, Young Adult and Single Adult Ministries for the Virginia United Methodist Church.
