In December 2002, Nathan Wilson had the vision to create an organization to combat Human Trafficking and to save the lives of the young women and children whose lives are deeply affected by this horrid crime, both here in the US and globally.

Project Meridian Foundation, Inc. (PMF) advances its mission by using Nathan Wilson, Founder/CEO, and its Advisors and Board of Directors and their networks to initiate research, public awareness, and action on Human Trafficking. PMF focuses its work in five critical areas:

• Awareness and Prevention of Human Trafficking
• Health Security
• US and International Law Issues relating to Human Trafficking
• Leadership, Business Development, and Citizen Service
• Slavery vs. Racial, Ethnic, Immigration, and Religious Reconciliation

If you are a young adult (8th through 12th grade), an undergraduate, graduate or professional student, or a recent graduate with a strong interest in these issues, PMF offers to you a unique opportunity for growth, learning, and meaningful service. If you are diligent, resourceful, professional, and intellectually curious, an internship at PMF should be of interest to you. We are seeking people who are dependable, creative, and enthusiastic; "movers and shakers" who want to make a difference in the World today.

The internship mirrors the school year with internships running September -December, January-May, and June-August. Fall and spring internships are for about 20 hours weekly, and the Summer is for about 20 hours weekly. No matter which location you choose, you will experience hands-on involvement with staff, volunteers and Foundation Stakeholders in areas such as communications, development, planning. You will experience first-hand how the Foundation works each day. In addition, we have the Brown Bag Lunch Series in which guests, including senior administration officials, federal law enforcement officials, and leaders in politics, business, entertainment, and journalism discuss the issues of the day relating to PMF's mission.

PMF has three locations: Washington, DC, Richmond VA, and Charlottesville VA. The Washington office focuses on Sex Slavery, International Gangs, Organized Crime, and Global Trade with open borders. The Richmond office is the official office from which activities are organized and directed. The Charlottesville office focuses on awareness, legislation, and laws in the US and Internationally.

We are interviewing at this time for the first and second quarter of 2008.
